Karen (McMahon) Lehner

Karen has a B.A. in Business Administration from University of Iowa, a Masters in Theological Studies from University of Northwestern–St. Paul, and a Masters in Biblical Counseling from Faith Bible Seminary in Lafayette, IN. She is an ACBC and ABC certified biblical counselor and serves on the Council Board of the Biblical Counseling Alliance.

Karen was born and raised in a small town outside of Chicago. Her husband, Jim, grew up in Colorado Springs, Co., and they met in Atlanta, Georgia when they worked for the same company. She attended church while she was growing up but never heard the Gospel or had a saving faith. It wasn't until the age of 40 that the Lord, in His mercy and grace granted repentance and faith and she was born again. Until that time she falsely believed she was a good person going to heaven. Karen and her late husband Jim were married for 24 years and have three amazing children.

In addition to her passion for helping others behold the glory of God, she cherishes time with her children, loves a good cup of coffee and a conversation, use to run but now jogs, would eat sushi everyday, enjoys reading the Puritans, and can't get enough of the beautiful sunsets at the cabin.
