OAfter a summer of construction in the Lower Level, there are a few yet vital steps until renovations are complete. Pray for inspection and our Certificate of Occupancy to be granted as soon as the Lord wills. The sixth graders are currently meeting in the Family Center as they wait for their classroom to be finished downstairs. Our leaders have been so flexible and patient, and we truly appreciate their willingness to be flexible over the last year!

While we earnestly await completion day, the Main Level is being actively used and enjoyed. Our teachers love their clean, updated and welcoming classrooms. New lighting makes the rooms bright and cheery. One fourth grader said he loves the big windows: “Mr. Gravley, thank you for the huge windows! The view is beautiful!” A kindergartener, new to First Free, said he was sad to leave his old church but loves his new church. “I love my church!” he said, looking up with a white toothed grin.
