Welcome to First Free! We are a community of Christ-followers who are here to glorify God by making and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ and we are glad you are here. We would love for you to be our guest at one of our services on Sunday and we want to help you know what to expect when you visit.
Where to Find Us
We are located on Hazelwood Street, just north of County Road C in Maplewood. Click here for a map.
When you get here, our parking lot is easy to navigate. Sometimes it gets full, so we do have overflow parking at our Harvest Community Gardens on the corner of Hazelwood Street and County Road C. A shuttle is available back and forth to this lot.
When to Join Us
Our Sunday morning worship services are our main church gatherings each week. We have three services that meet in the Worship Center at 8:30, 10 & 11:15 a.m. and a fourth service that meets in the Activity Center at 11:15 a.m. There are a few entrances to the church, so follow the signs to the Worship Center or ask a greeter or usher which way to go. Services last for one hour, but we enjoy taking time to connect before and after services over coffee (served in the Gym) or during adult Sunday School classes. (We call them mini-Congregations.)
What a Service is Like
During a typical service, we will worship through songs, reading Scripture and a message. Communion is served once a month. If you have one, bring your Bible! We spend a lot of time walking through Scripture during the message and you’ll understand more if you can follow along.
What to Wear
Come as you are; there’s no typical dress here. Some people will be in suits and others will be in jeans and a t-shirt. Whatever you prefer, you are welcome to worship with us.
Come to the Welcome Desk
If you have any questions, this is the place to ask! We would also love to give you a welcome gift that will give you more information about the ministries and events at First Free.
Where to Bring Kids
Your kids are welcome to be with you in the service, but programming is available for kids of all ages from nursery through seniors in high school. If you want your kids to participate in kids programs, come a little early so you can get them checked in to the right class. We use an electronic check-in and security system that one of our check-in assistants would be happy to help you through. Learn more about our children’s programming and youth programming.

We hope we will meet you soon!
