Tom Greenlee received his first degree in Chemistry from Michigan Technological University, and later received both a Master’s and a Ph.D. in Physics from California Institute of Technology.
Tom was born in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio, to loving parents Bob and Eloise Greenlee. He was raised a churchgoer but only committed his life to Christ after his first year of grad school, in the evening of June 22, 1972. The Caltech Christian Fellowship was going strong, and they and the people at Lake Avenue Congregational Church helped him grow.
Tom has been working at Bethel University since 1979, and it was there that he met his wife. They have been married since 1982 and have three children. He is thankful to the Lord for a great wife and wonderful children, a fine son-in-law, and an adorable granddaughter!
Tom’s hobbies are reading, cross-country skiing, hunting (rabbits, birds, and deer), and a little astronomy. He also likes to relax with some TV or movies. He admits to actually reading more about hunting than doing it, but has fun getting out into the woods for a couple of weekends in the fall.
