Jordan Monson

Church Planter

Jordan is the Church Planting Pastor at First Evangelical Free Church. He's married to Aubrey, and they have two kids—Everett and Jameson.

Jordan loves to explore city neighborhoods on foot, bike commute and discover new cultural gems in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Most often, though, with an hour of leisure, he is likely to make a cup of coffee and read or write. He loves nearly every genre of reading and writes essays, memoir, and fiction.

Jordan enjoys time with friends and family and simply talking with people—especially about ideas. If you like to discuss ideas, please, jump in, so Aubrey can catch a break.

Jordan’s undergraduate degree is in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Minnesota. He then planted a church in Spain. After three years, he accepted the call to go on staff with Wycliffe Bible Translators and The Seed Company to help the people of São Tomé translate the Scriptures into their own local languages.

He went to Wheaton to earn his Master’s of Biblical Exegesis.

Jordan is leading our church plant in St. Paul’s West 7th neighborhood. The church plant will launch in early March of 2019. Email him if you’re interested in attending or helping in any way!
