Kids’ Camp Adopts Global Partners

Posted on April 13, 2017 by Stephen Gravley in Relationships.

Each Sunday School class, Kindergarten through 6th grade, has adopted one of the First Free Global Partners to pray for and encourage. The 5th grade class adopted Phil and Suzanne Falconer. Here is the most recent communication that I received from the 5th grade teachers Debbie and Mike Anderson:

Dear Stephen,

You would have been very pleased with the thoughtful cards that the 5th graders created for our global partners, Phil and Suzanne Falconer.

We had them each pick out a verse (or more) to send in their cards, along with encouragement regarding a prayer need of Suzanne and Phil's regarding a housing situation that we had prayed for. (The earlier Christmas package cards contained snippets of something they had learned at Sunday School this year.) I love the growing responsiveness in this class...

Mike and I were blessed as we read through the cards before Mike mailed the package off Monday morning!

Here is the response from Phil and Suzanne Falconer:

Dear Debbie, Mike, and the whole prayer warrior team,

Thank you so much for all your cards filled with verses of hope and promise! We were so cheered by your thoughtfulness and creativity. We should find out if Nick has a teaching job in our town by mid-April. In the meantime we continue to trust in God's perfect plan for our family.

May the Lord bless you—each one! We pray that you will walk with Jesus every day, living in His love and affection for you. Keep shining!

Your friends, in Christ,

Phil and Suzanne Falconer

It is such a blessing that students are becoming aware of the needs of God’s servants who are working for his glory both near and far. Remember to pray for and encourage our Global Partners!
